Action Without Action

The verb "esperar" in Spanish means to hope, but also means to wait or to expect...it is an inactive verb, a defeatist attitude. Hope for the best, wait for Godot, expect nothing.

Wei wu wei, on the other hand, doesn't give us carte blanche to wait or hope through inaction, rather to perform wei wu wei, or 'action without action.' we will be able to work in harmony to accomplish what is needed, and, working in perfect harmony, leave no trace of having done it.
